I keep coming back to my philosophy and how it's rooted in versatility: As a designer, I lead, nurture, strategize, and produce. As a marketing designer I create with the research, users and culture clearly defining the lens by which design decisions are made. As a technologist I explore innovated ways to leverage Ai technology to further engage interaction and ROI. And at the intersection of these roles is where I push to build brand affection, deliver value and drive action.
I'm passionate about developing others around me, and doing what I can to improve the culture of my workplace. In past roles I've led company-wide growth initiatives and evolved company's brand voice and identity.
“Curiosity is the gateway to everything in life.” I haven’t a clue who said that but double-tap that. And you get to that place through experience. The best leaders put people first. Everything rises and falls on how you lead your team, and keeping people happy is a pretty important part of keeping them productive. And a great way to become a good leader is to shift from, “how’s everything going?” to “what’s one thing that could be better?”
Over the course of my career, I’ve built a reputation for developing others, elevating workplace culture, and fostering environments where ideas thrive. I believe the role of a creative leader isn’t to have all the answers, but to create a space where teams can collaborate fearlessly, contribute meaningfully, and deliver their best work. In 2021, I was honored as Art Director of the Year by the American Advertising Federation Nashville, a recognition of my commitment to both craft and leadership.
