I am a creative director, visual sheriff, designer, manager, and digital director creating intelligent design, building identities and elevating brands across digital, print and social. I push to build brand affection, deliver value and drive action. Award winner for Art Director of the year 2020 by the American Advertising Federation Nashville with 19 Gold and 41 Silver awards. Received 1 Gold and 9 Silver awards from National American Advertising 2020.

My story and philosophy - As a designer I lead, nurture, grow, strategize, conceptualize and produce. As a marketing designer I design assets with the research, users and culture clearly defining the lens by which design decisions are made. As a technologist I explore ways to leverage technology and development to further engage interaction. And at the intersection of these roles is where I push to build brand affection, deliver value and drive action. To me, it’s about ability: you need enough practical experience to know how to help get your teams out of a jam, to be competent enough in yourself across platforms, generating ideas that you can step in last minute and deliver if needed, and have the credibility and maturity to be effective with colleagues and clients.

Marketing has moved from just pushing out ideas to pulling in conversations. We have evolved past a singular way of connection. If an idea can't exist across all channels, it's too small. If it doesn't engage, inspire, enchant and activate, it doesn't work. I foster the creation, translation and amplification of big ideas across all media.

I have the maturity and the capabilities designing physical, web, and consumer products and delivering projects on-time with strategic integrity. I will play a critical role by shepherding the Brand on the right course as well as help predict and set the tone for the design team. Comfortable moving fluidly between strategy / leadership / concepting and execution, and have an appetite to contribute in both capacities. I am a designer that can stretch across a magnitude of user experiences. I look at interaction design, visual design and brand, typography, motion, 3D, human factors, and more as tools in the designer’s toolkit. I may have strengths in some of these areas, and want to learn more in others, but I know how to talk about each and work with my colleagues to combine them all into an experience that delights. I'm a creative who listens and asks smart questions to improve experiences for brands and consumers.

Strengths: Multiplatform Design & Storytelling, creative direction and art direction, user experience design (UX), digital product design, content strategy (print, digital and social) and print-to-digital transformation. Concept, design and production of traditional and digital campaigns, direct mail, outdoor advertising, web sites, web ad campaigns, social media campaigns to increase email circulation, TV, point of sale. Oversee projects from original concepts through final output to client using Trello, Slack, Jira and Monday.com. 

Experience understanding and implementing integrated marketing strategies and subscription and content marketing programs.
